Between the catalogue and the codebase.
Full name Rasheed Akorede Adigun. I publish as Adigun, Akorede Rasheed.
I'm an MSLIS candidate at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (expected May 2027), specialising in STEM and engineering librarianship, digital accessibility and user experience.
Day to day I work at the Grainger Engineering Library, where I provide reference and research consultations, teach information literacy to engineering senior design teams, and run weekend operations for an 80,000 sq. ft. building.
Before graduate school I spent years as a web developer and UI/UX designer, building client websites in Lagos and designing product interfaces for a Canadian technology team. That background is why my library work keeps circling back to accessibility audits, usability studies and AI-enhanced search.
