Who I am
This is the personal website of Rasheed Akorede Adigun at rasheedadigun.com. If you have any question about your information, email rasheedadig@gmail.com.
What this site collects and why
- Contact form. Your name, email address, organisation (optional) and message. They are emailed to me so I can reply, and a copy may be kept in the website’s dashboard. I use them only to answer you.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, your email address is stored so I can send you new articles. You confirm by email first, and every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.
- Comments. When you comment, your name, email address, comment and IP address are stored to show your comment and to help detect spam. Your email address is never published. An anonymised version of your email address may be sent to Gravatar to show your profile picture.
- Shop. If you buy something, the details needed to process the order (name, email, billing details) are stored with the order. Card payments are handled by the payment provider; this site never sees your card number.
- Statistics. If site statistics are switched on, anonymous information about which pages are visited is collected to understand what readers find useful.
Cookies and your browser
Your light or dark mode choice is saved in your own browser and never sent to me. Commenting can save your name and email in a cookie for next time if you tick the box, and the shop uses cookies to remember your basket.
How long information is kept
Messages and comments are kept for as long as they are useful for the conversation. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Order records are kept as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information this site holds about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Email rasheedadig@gmail.com and I will reply as soon as I can.
Where information is sent
Information is never sold or shared for advertising. Comments may be checked by an automated spam service.
